On April 10, 2002, God gave Dr. Will D. Hayes, III a vision to form God’s Word & Christ Ministries. In the initial stages of the ministry, the ministry wasn’t a church, but an outreach ministry concerned with not only spiritual issues, but social and political issues. After serving a local Baptist Church for 8.5 years, God released Dr. Hayes to initiate stage two of God’s Word & Christ Ministries aka The Healing Station.

On August 3, 2014, stage two of this ministry became a reality and a congregation was formed. For the opening service, God added 40 team members to the church.

As a church concerned with the empowerment and advancement of the total man, our mission is to empower, equip, and educate the minds of men, women, boys, and girls through the Word of God in order to spiritually, socially, and economically transform their lives and our vision is to offer age appropriate services and ministries to the church and community through various spiritual and outreach initiatives.

Since our inception, God has been good to us! We are a church of ORDER and EXCELLENCE and we are striving to present ministry in an innovative and creative manner!

Even with all of the wonderful things that God has allowed to happen within GWCM, we still believe that THE BEST IS STILL YET TO COME!
