The purpose of the Mothers of Order & Excellence​ at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to offer wisdom and guidance to younger women in the ministry. In addition, this ministry will assist the Founder/Pastor with communion and baptism. Finally, the Mothers’ Ministry will work with the Founder/Pastor to seek effective ways to make the mission and vision of the church an ongoing reality.

Team Leader: 

The purpose of the Men of Order & Excellence at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in helping empower men to become better fathers, leaders, and role models for young men in the church and the community. This ministry will also present workshops, seminars, and community events focusing on various issues specific to men. Lastly, this ministry will also assist the Founder/Pastor in baptisms and any other area that needs assistance.

The purpose of the Youth of Order & Excellence at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in helping empower the young people in the church and community to become better students, leaders, and role models for other young people in the church, schools, and community. This ministry will also present workshops, seminars, and community events focusing on various issues specific to youth.

Team Leader: Mother Nadene Smith​

The purpose of the Pastor’s Support Team at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in all areas of church and family life. This team will support the Founder/Pastor spiritually and financially. The Pastor’s Support Team will have the authority to raise funds at any point throughout the fiscal year to ensure that the financial needs of the Founder/Pastor are met. These needs may include, but are not limited to, support for convention registration, travel expenses, food, cleaning of clergy attire, etc.

The purpose of the Men and Women Ushers and Greeters Team at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in ensuring that all members and guests of GWCM are greeted with a smile upon entering the worship service. This team will also be responsible for passing out offering envelopes and other needed documentation when necessary. Finally, this team will ensure that the sanctuary is clean and in order before and after each worship service.

The purpose of the Christian Education Department at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in identifying theologically sound materials that can be used at workshops, seminars, and leadership trainings. This department, under the leadership of the Director for Christian Education, will also be responsible for recommending workshop presenters to the Founder/Pastor and facilitating all of the logistics from the beginning to the end for a successful training. Finally, this department will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Church School and other areas relative to Christian Education.

The purpose of the Music Ministry at God’s Word & Christ Ministries is to assist the Founder/Pastor in setting the atmosphere for worship and praise through contemporary songs, traditional songs, and hymns. This ministry will stay current with the times, but present music that is meaningful and theologically sound in its message. This ministry will present musicians and singers that are trained in their craft and anointed to deliver to God’s people through the ministry of music with order and excellence! Finally, this ministry will be responsible for coordinating workshops, musicals, and music for special services/events throughout the fiscal year.
